  • Administrative Assistant: The Campagna Center is currently seeking a part time Administrative Assistant to provide program support in areas of data tracking, document management, data entry, mailing and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with all Microsoft Office programs and confidential data. Attention to detail, excellent written and verbal skills are critical. The ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not required. Days: 20 hours - Mon, Wed, Friday If interested, please submit resume to Human Resources at hrservices@campagnacenter.org
  • Head Start Assistant Teacher: The HS Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum for the children in the classroom. The person must be willing to fulfill job responsibilities in accordance with the program philosophy. Qualifications include (but are not limited to): A CDA is required. Candidate should have at least two years experience working with infants and toddlers in an accredited child development program. Must have a current Red Cross First Aid Card and a current CPR certification card. Must be willing to participate in cross-cultural training. Other duties as assigned.   • Head Start Teacher:  The HEAD START TEACHER is responsible for all supervision, management, and planning for the children in a pre-school (3-5 year old) classroom. The HEAD START TEACHER will cooperate with all service area managers to facilitate the utilization of needed services to the children and their parents. This person is responsible for keeping accurate reports and forms on each child, and guaranteeing that all of the necessary forms are completed and properly maintained. This person must be willing to fulfill job responsibilities in accordance with the program philosophy, Virginia child care licensing, Head Start and NAEYC standards.Qualifications include (but are not limited to): A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; an A.A. Degree in the same field. Should have at least two years experience working with children in an accredited child development program, some supervisory skills. Must have a current Red Cross First Aid Card and a current CPR certification card. Must be willing to participate in cross-cultural training.EOE.   • Senior Director of Early Childhood Programs:  The Senior Director of Early Childhood Programs is responsible for ensuring the quality delivery of early care and education services across all early childhood programs administered by The Campagna Center. Currently, Head Start and Early Head Start represent the largest share of our overall early childhood education programs. The Director plays a critical role in strategic planning and decision-making related to the long-term needs of the agency’s early childhood programs and our ultimate goal to support school readiness and deepening our commitment to work in partnership with parents. The Director is also responsible for managing all financial aspects of the early childhood division and is expected to utilize his/her knowledge and expertise of the Head Start Program Performance Standards, NAEYC accreditation, and state/local child care licensing regulations/Quality Improvement Rating Systems to execute his/her responsibilities. Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with parents, staff, community partners, and funders is essential. The Senior Director participates as a member of the Senior Leadership team and is actively involved in making decisions that affect overall operations of the agency.
