Programs

Since 1945, The Campagna Center has been committed to fostering a positive environment for Alexandria’s children and families. Through effective and visionary leadership, The Center has responded to the changing needs of our community with quality programming and services.  Today, The Campagna Center is proud to be the leading children’s organization in Alexandria, serving more than 1,700 children and families daily through our seven programs:

• Alexandria Head Start (child development program serving low-income families)
• Early Head Start (community-based program for low-income families with infants and toddlers)
• Campagna Early Learning Center (full-day preschool program)
• Afternoon Adventures (extended-day childcare from 3:00 until 6:00  pm)
• Summer Safari (six week summer program, for children ages 3-5)
• Campagna Kids (quality before- and after-school child care and tutoring)
• Building Better Futures (tutoring and mentoring for Latino and non-Latino ELL students)
• New Neighbors English Classes  (Family literacy program providing ELL classes for adults and childcare for children)
