Wright to Read Hours & LocationsThe Tutor/Mentor Program is held after school, during the evening, or weekends. The volunteer tutor/mentor schedules the sessions with the student’s parent. Book Buddies is offered during the following times: - Tuesdays from 4:00 – 5:00 pm at William Ramsay Elementary (5700 Sangar Ave.)
- Wednesdays from 4:00 – 5:00 pm at Jefferson Houston Elementary (1501 Cameron St.)
- Thursdays from 4:30 – 5:30 pm at the Family Resource Learning Center (910 Montgomery St.)
Reach Out and Read held on Mondays from 8:30am –12:00 noon and Wednesdays from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (in 1.5 hour shifts) at the Alexandria Health Department Children’s Clinic (4480 King St.). |
