The New Neighbors English Language Learning & Family Literacy Program improves the lives of immigrants and refugees by offering English classes, childcare, family literacy, community access, and hospitality. Join us at the 2017 Oktoberfest celebration for a night of beer, brats, and merriment galore, all to support New Neighbor's mission of helping families become self-sufficient.

6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
3950 Wheeler Avenue, Alexandria, VA
This fun annual event affords you the opportunity to sample an array of Port City's award-winning brews, enjoy authentic German-style brats, and sample delicious German sides. There will be excellent auction items, too, as well as live German music. Parking is available onsite, as well as along Wheeler Avenue. All proceeds from the evening will benefit The Campagna Center's New Neighbors Program.
The Campagna Center helps children and families from cradle to career by providing high quality early learning experiences, health and nutrition awareness, before- and after-school programs, enrichment learning and guidance through high school, and classes for English language learners. For over 70 years, The Campagna Center has been helping children, teens, and adults in Alexandria reach their potential. The New Neighbors Program is one of The Campagna Center's four core programs and offers English classes and services to immigrants and refugees from around the world who have settled in Alexandria and the Northern Virginia area. New Neighbors provides a safe place where people from many cultures can build friendships and become participating members of our community while learning English.
