The Junior Friends of The Campagna Center is pleased to announce the 13th Annual Toast to Fashion, which will take place on Thursday, March 22nd from 6:30 -10 pm at Belle Haven Country Club. This annual event combines a fashion show, marketplace, raffle, and cocktail reception. For the second year, ABC-7/WJLA’s Britt McHenry will serve as emcee. Proceeds from this event help support programs of The Campagna Center.
The winning charity which received the most votes was announced at the conclusion of the Gala. It was the Campagna Center's Tammy Mann who accepted the $2,500 check. Ms. Mann replied, “The Campagna Center is extremely grateful to all who contributed to the Give Back Contest, not just to support Campagna being named the Award-Winning Charity, but all five of the organizations. I know that the Chamber has a long history of supporting local charities, and it was wonderful to see Andrew Palmieri include the nonprofit sector in such a visible manner as he takes the helm of the Chamber."
"It is an honor to serve as Grand Marshal for The Campagna Center’s Scottish Christmas Walk Parade, the event, which annually launches Alexandria’s Christmas season, said Ticer. It is a special pleasure for me, as a long time admirer and sometimes participant in an organization which has served Alexandria’s families and children so well since the days when it was still the Alexandria Y, and I was a young mother. The Campagna Center has personified the good works and caring attitude Alexandrians have always had toward one another.
"Research has consistently documented the value of high quality early childhood education and at The Campagna Center we are devoted to providing the very best in services to ensure that children transitioning from our programs into kindergarten are ready to learn,” said Tammy Mann, President and CEO.
