Group Leader

Group Leaders report to Assistant Site Directors and are responsible for implementing daily activities at assigned Campagna Kids program sites. With guidance and direction from Assistant Site Directors, Group Leaders set up and break down sites, develop daily lesson plans and activities according to a designated lesson plan, ensure the availability of needed materials for children’s daily activities, assist with the preparation and serving of snacks, and maintain attendance sheets, among other duties. Group Leaders are also responsible for maintaining site safety, cleanliness and the timely reporting of accidents or incidents that occur while children are in the program. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM – 6:00 PM.  Staff are expected to obtain and maintain a current TB test result or chest x-ray.  Reliable transportation is required for assignments at sites in the city of Alexandria.
