Substitute Teacher

The Center is seeking talented substitute teachers to join our growing sub pool for the Head Start and Early Head Start for the Early Childhood Programs. The role of the substitute teacher is varied, and requires flexibility, cooperation and collaboration. Substitute teachers work on an as needed basis throughout the school year in the classroom with other educational professionals. We seek to hire individuals with a deep respect for children, strong classroom management skills, and experience working with diverse populations, including children with special needs. As a Substitute Teacher, you are expected to assist the teacher with curriculum, classroom cleanliness, and meal service. All classroom substitutes are paid $11.53 per hour.
