Denise Palmieri is a ABA Leverage Specialist for American Bar Association where she is generating non-dues revenue by developing and closing meeting sourcing and contacting sales to outside law firms and law related associations. Denise’s ethical and practical approaches to bringing in new business and her collaborative efforts within the association markets have brought interesting and innovative long-term partnerships together within the local region. Prior to working at ABA, Denise was a consultant for the National Industries for the Blind on developing a feasibility analysis that was approved by a 30-member board of directors to work on a first-year pilot for generating events for the newly established Training and Event Center. She has held multiple roles within the hospitality industry for 15 years while working for Trade Center Management Associates (A Drew Company) at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and Remington Hotels. Denise is presently serving her third year on the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce. Denise also serves as the Chair of the Development Committee for the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce. Denise has garnered a reputation as an extraordinary fundraiser and event organizer.
