Kathryn Duval joins The Campagna Center with over a decade of nonprofit fundraising expertise in education, the arts, and the humanitarian sector. Most recently, Kathryn served as the Director of Development & External Relations at the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Mines Advisory Group (MAG), where she oversaw all U.S. based philanthropy and communications. Prior to her work at MAG, Kathryn held various leadership and fundraising roles at 50CAN: The 50-State Campaign for Achievement Now, where she supported local leaders in advocating for a high-quality education for all children, regardless of their address. Kathryn holds a master’s degree in nonprofit management from the School of Public Service at DePaul University, and a bachelor’s degree with honors in sociology and art history from Case Western Reserve University. Kathryn, her husband Drew, and their rescue dog Penelope live in Alexandria, and can most often be found at the waterfront parks, farmer’s markets, and historical sites in the neighborhood.
