Director of Secondary and Adult Education Programs

Lizzie Liu joined The Campagna Center in August 2018 as the director for New Neighbors ELL program. As a director, Lizzie Liu is responsible for managing student recruitment and registration, ESL curriculum development, and ESL teacher recruitment/ training. She is committed to creating a welcoming community for the students she serves, many of whom are newly arrived refugees and immigrants. In June 2019, Lizzie has expanded her role and started serving both New Neighbors ELL and Building Better Futures programs. New Neighbors ELL and Building Better Futures share many common program components, with the most prominent being the focus on career readiness skills. As the director of secondary and adult education programs, Lizzie is excited to explore the synergy between two programs and to continue providing high quality services for the clients.

Lizzie Liu earned a Master’s Degree in International Education Policy from University of Pittsburgh. Before joining The Campagna Center, she worked with refugees directly by providing support to resettlement case management. She also has experience managing education programs serving international students who are studying in American institutes.
