Rozalind Grice Ferguson
Rozalind Ferguson has been an early childhood administrator for more than 30 years. She brings a wealth of experience her work with a special focus on motivating and building successful teams. She enjoys bringing out the best in her staff and takes pride in mentoring and supporting teachers. She has served in many professional capacities including Chief of the Office of Educational Services (District Government) Head Start, Executive Director (Combined Federal Agencies) where she earned a Federal Director’s Certification under President Barack Obama. Her work has been recognized in “Who’s Who” in Early Education (June 2012) and she was named Early Childhood Director of the year 2015. A native of Norfolk, Virginia, she attended Virginia Wesleyan College in Virginia Beach, Virginia and later Norfolk State University where she earned a Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Elementary Education. Ms. Ferguson also holds a Child Development Associate credential in preschool education. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her wonderful family, traveling, reading novels, helping others, and shopping!
