Six spectacular packages will be up for grabs in our Live Auction! You’ll also have the chance to win the package of your choosing before the bidding starts—for only $100—as part of our Magic Ticket Drawing!

#1 - Dining and Staying in Style

You and a guest will enjoy an exceptional dining experience with this $1000 gift certificate to the Inn at Little Washington, a Michelin 3-Star restaurant. Travel into Virginia’s countryside where you’ll savor a delectable meal at this world-famous restaurant, prepared by award-winning Chef Patrick O’Connell, known for his refined, regional American Cuisine. Once your dinner has ended, you’ll rest easy with a one-night stay in a nearby home, just a short walk from the Inn. The winning bidder will also take home a bottle of champagne and one of Chef O’Connell’s cookbooks, complete with his signature. Bon appetit!

#2 – For the Sports Enthusiast!

Could you ask for anything more? This could be the year you celebrate with three exclusive game-day experiences and a private tour of a renowned brewery. The winning bidder will secure four Players Club tickets to a Washington Capitals game, four Players Club tickets for a Washington Wizards game, and four tickets to see the Washington Commanders from a shared suite—all of which include food, beverages, and parking—along with some fun swag bags. The winner will also enjoy a Port City gift certificate for a VIP tour for 12 people, as well as a gift pack that includes a growler and four pint glasses.

#3 - Lunch with an Author

You and three friends will enjoy the literary side of New York City when you join best-selling author Adriana Trigiani for a private lunch. Adriana is an award-winning playwright, television writer and producer, and filmmaker. She is beloved by millions of readers around the world as one of the "reigning queens of women's fiction" (USA Today). Adriana is The New York Times bestselling author of 20 books in fiction and nonfiction, including The Shoemaker’s Wife, The Good Left Undone, Don’t Sing at the Table, and Lucia, Lucia. Published in 38 languages, The New York Times calls her "a comedy writer with a heart of gold.” In addition to this private dining experience, the winning bidder will be treated to multiple books signed in person by Adriana.

#5 Romero Britto Painting + Art & Architecture Tour

The winning bidder will add a dynamic piece of original art to their personal collection from famed artist Romero Britto, donated by Nepenthe Gallery in Alexandria. Britto, a Brazilian-born artist who currently lives and works in Miami, FL, is internationally renowned and has created an "iconic visual language of happiness, fun, and love." Britto is recognized as the architect of the Happy Art Movement. The artwork is titled Smiley Face Magenta and is an acrylic painting on paper, framed 10 ½ x 13 ½ inches.

In addition to the artwork, you'll have an opportunity to experience the unique art and architecture found in the Washington, DC region. Now is your opportunity to enjoy privately guided tours for four people to two hallmarks of the region: The National Gallery of Art and The National Cathedral. You will also be treated to a private tour at Nepenthe Gallery in Alexandria, which features original works from local, national, and global artists, as well as 1-2 paintings on display by important 19th century American artists such as Robert Henri and Childe Hassam. At the National Gallery of Art, you’ll be guided by a docent with 25 years of museum experience. At the National Cathedral, you’ll enjoy an expansive 2-hour behind-the-scenes tour of the world’s 6th largest cathedral and our nation’s spiritual home. This tour includes stunning views, an in-depth look at the Cathedral's uniquely American neo-gothic architecture as well as access to areas that are off limits to the general public.

#6 - Guided Whiskey Tasting & Catered Dinner

Have you wanted to learn more about whiskeys? You and seven friends will spend an evening at your home with a guided whiskey tasting by Kalie Adams, a Spirits Specialist with Breakthru Beverage. You’ll taste the selections in special whiskey tasting tulip-shaped glasses. Once the tasting is complete, you’ll continue the evening with a dinner that has been dropped off by Alexandria-based caterer Tasteful Affairs, including two appetizers, two main dishes, one salad, two sides, one dessert, or a customized menu with a comparable amount of food. Your memorable evening will be complete with a $150 gift certificate for a floral arrangement from Enchanted Florist, and hand-painted napkins. Take home a box of gourmet chocolates and a few bottles of Scotch this evening and pick a date for the tasting to begin!

Ways to Win

Magic Ticket Prize Drawing

For only $100 a ticket, you will be entered for a chance to win the auction package of your choosing, taking it off the table before the live auction even begins!

One lucky winner will win any Bright Futures Auction package of their choice!
Tickets cost $100, and only a limited number of tickets will be sold.
Upon the purchase of a ticket, you must pre-select an auction package.
The prize drawing will take place at the event just before the Live Auction on Friday, June 7th, 2024. One ticket will be drawn, and one winner will be chosen. The rest of the packages will be up for auction after the drawing.
You do not have to be present to win. The winner will be notified on Monday, June 10th, 2024.
All physical items in the winning Magic Ticket item must be claimed and removed after the event unless noted for pick up from Campagna at a later date. Campagna is not able to mail items to winners.

Auction Rules

To participate in the Live Auction, raise your program in the air to bid. The highest bidder acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the buyer of the package up for auction.

Upon winning an Auction package, the Buyer will be approached by a Bright Futures volunteer or staff member to fill out a pledge form or pay the full amount via a check or credit card. The Buyer must either fill out a pledge form or pay the full amount bid before the event ends at 9:30PM. If they fail to do so, they forfeit the package, and it will be given to the next highest bidder.

All Auction packages are sold exactly as described in the program booklet. No changes or substitutions can be made. Restrictions and number of participants are included in the program booklet and are firm.

In the event of a dispute, the Auctioneer has sole and final discretion to name the successful bidder (Buyer) or resell the item. Decisions of the Auctioneer are final.

All auction packages expire exactly one year from June 7th, 2024, unless otherwise specified on the certificate or a later date is accommodated by the donor.

Campagna staff will connect Buyer with donors or third parties within 30 days to make any necessary arrangements. All physical items present at the time of auction must be claimed and removed after the event unless noted for pick up from Campagna at a later date. Campagna is not able to mail items to winners.

All transactions are final.
