Edith Hawkins joins The Campagna Center with nearly 15 years of experience working with programs to improve the educational experiences and outcomes for students and their families. She has directed evaluations of local, regional and national education programs with the purpose of refining implementation and identifying successful strategies that can be replicated in similar settings. Prior to joining The Campagna Center, Ms. Hawkins held positions at The McKenzie Group, Inc., National Alliance of Business, and the Government Accounting Office, all of which had similar missions to promote and sustain the delivery of high-quality educational and community-based initiatives. Most recently, she served as a Senior Manager at ICF International, where she was responsible for managing a portfolio of evaluation and technical assistance projects for district, state and federal clients. Her clients have included the U.S. Department of Education Office of Innovation and Improvement, the Smithsonian Institution, the Maryland State Department of Education, Chicago Public Schools and New York City Public Schools. During her tenure at ICF International, she played an integral role in setting the direction of the organization by serving on strategic planning teams, contributing to the organization’s market expansion through business development, and building organizational capacity to serve its clients through effective staff management, development and mentoring. Ms. Hawkins earned her Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and completed her Master’s degree in Public Policy at Duke University.
