Jenifer currently serves as the 2022-2023 Chair of the Junior Friends; she has been a member since 2015. Professionally, Jenifer is a Speech Language Pathologist for Fairfax County Public Schools. She has worked with children from Preschool to High school aged students for almost 23 years. She has worked in the school system, private practice, and in early intervention. She has a BS in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Lander University, a BA in Speech/Language Pathology from Columbia College, and a MCD in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Carolina. Jenifer grew up in South Carolina where she served as president of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity in college and as an alumna. Jenifer has volunteered and served on the board of local nonprofits and foundations. She enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with her husband Karl Baker, traveling abroad, and volunteering.
