Early Childhood Programs

The Campagna Early Learning Center at St. James

Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Part-time, full-time, and year round options!

Full-time (5 days a week) = $1016-$1224 monthly; Part-time (3 days a week) = $650-$816 monthly

Head Start/ Early Head Start/ VPI 2021-2022 School Year

Parents may complete registration to determine eligibility as space becomes available in the program.

These items are also requested at the time of registration:

  1. Proof of Medical/Health Insurance
  2. Physical Examination Form completed within the last six months and Dental Exam

Campagna Kids


Eligibility and Registration

The Campagna Kids Program serves elementary school aged children who are at least 5 years old, who live in Alexandria or attend Alexandria City Public Schools. Spaces at each site are available on a first come, first served basis. Parents pay based on income, with opportunities for assistance provided. Online registration is required. Parents who need to access a computer to complete the registration process may come to our office (418 S. Washington Street), where staff will be happy to assist with registration. The hours of operation for registration are Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

2021-2022 School Year

Wright to Read is accepting K-5 student applications for the 2021-22 School Year. Space is limited, and eligibility is determined based upon school referrals, your child’s reading level and family need.
