Campagna Center completes $6.7M campaign with transformational gift from MacKenzie Scott
Our Forward Together capital campaign began with a dream about what a new, renovated Campagna Center building would look like and all that it would mean to the community we serve.
Thanks to the generosity of over 250 campaign donors, our dream is becoming a reality as we conclude our $6.7M campaign.
Along with the steadfast support of our community, Campagna Center announces a $4M investment from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott. It is an honor to have our mission, programs, and campaign be recognized by one of the nation’s largest and most influential philanthropists. This gift caps off the Forward Together campaign and will be used to complete renovations and expand our programs to serve more children and families in need of our support. Renovating and Reimagining Our Space
Our entire first floor will be transformed into a dynamic program space—bringing the signature programs of Campagna Center back under the roof of our South Washington building for the first time in the organization’s history. Private meeting rooms will be available for participants to discuss their needs and learn more about the array of programs we offer. Large and small classrooms will be used by our early childhood education, school age, and adult programs—which serve over 2,000 children and families each year. The second floor will consolidate administrative areas and allow staff to work together to better serve our participants. Not only will our renovations secure our presence within the community we know and love, it seeks to build for the future by funding an endowment.
The new Campagna Center is scheduled to open in fall/winter 2023.
